Meet Namusisi*, a remarkable student from one of our PEAS schools in Uganda. Her journey is one of resilience, determination, and the transformative power of education.

At just 17, Namusisi found herself facing the challenges of teenage motherhood. Despite the hurdles she faced, Namusisi’s was determined to continue her education.

Thanks to the support of her father and PEAS, Namusisi was able to return to school and pursue her dreams. Once enrolled in a PEAS school, she found a supportive community and an environment free from judgment or discrimination.

With access to quality education and the resources she needed, Namusisi flourished. She embraced her studies, excelling in her favourite subject, Geography, and set her sights on a future career in local law enforcement.

Namusisi’s story is a testament to the impact of empowering young women through education. By providing opportunities like hers, we’re not just changing individual lives; we’re shaping brighter futures for entire communities.

Join us in celebrating Namusisi’s journey and the countless others like hers who are breaking barriers and achieving their dreams with the support of PEAS.
